The Douglas Entrance Historic Ballroom built in 1927 is a "one of a kind" facility featuring a recently restored Grand Ballroom and Archroom overlooking spectacular renaissance style plaza area with a majestic musical water fountain.

We Welcome outside catering! A preferred vendor book listing will be provided for your selection. The fee is based on the time of the year and the number of guest.

Make an elegant entrance from our "Grande" staircase into the beautiful Galleria with its cathedral ceilings, natural lighting and breathtaking marble.Your guests will then be led into our historic marble-tiled Rotunda, designed in neoclassical style and surrounded by marble columns topped with Tropical Corinthian capitals. Combined with a picturesque fountain under a domed ceiling, the Rotunda is a charming space for any occasion.The Merrick Ballroom is ideal for gatherings of 100 to 250 people with its 14’ ceilings and natural light seeping through its windowed walls. Ornate gold chandeliers and light gold and wood accents make for another "Grande" affair.Additionally, a beautifully landscaped rooftop terrace provides a relaxing atmosphere for smaller, more intimate functions. Surprise your guests with a rooftop wedding ceremony overlooking the city of Coral Gables or give them a relaxed, fun atmosphere with a buffet dinner in the cool night breeze.The Colonnade Ballroom can also act as a space for smaller, more intimate groups of up to 125 people. With its pre-function area directly outside its floor to ceiling wooden doors and its floor to ceiling windows inside the Colonnade, allowing natural light to flow in freely, the room is a perfect fit for smaller receptions.  

Located minutes from downtown Miami in the exclusive Coconut Grove area, the Miami Chart House offers superb waterfront views of Dinner Key Marina and Biscayne Bay from both the dining room and the outdoor deck.
